I am working on my masters on psychology in leadership (From Penn State University) and this book is our staple. Lucky for me it is a great read in general. It discusses all the different styles and types of leadership and addresses issues that surround leadership. I have learned so much with this one book and you will too. I learned about myself and other’s too. For all the present leaders, formal and informal, and to the future leaders this is such a helpful book.

You will learn about transformational, servant, team leadership and whole lot more. There are also helpful tools to help analyze your leadership and of those around you. Northouse uses helpful real life scenarios to help demonstrate the types of leadership. One of my favorite parts was learning the different archetypes and how they are connected. My most treasured chapter was on authentic leadership because I feel this is the core to real effective leadership, being your authentic self.

I have the actual book and the Kindle version I use it so much. My book is actually falling apart I use it so much!

I highly recommend this book for all types of businesses and leaders!
